Who are we?
The Revolutionary Laborers Journal is an exercise in discussing Socialist thought pertaining to the United States. Our goal is to build a revolutionary working-class movement in the United States through the work of what we call "American-Applied Socialism."
Marxism is not a stagnant, unchanging theory of economics and history. The practice of Marxism is to apply it to a country whose working class is struggling under the weight of Capitalism. It is imperative that American socialists take a more "applied" approach and engage with theory on a more relative scale in order to bring about a socialist revolution in the United States.
